In 1871 David MOIR resided at 9 Russell Street presume this is in Arbroath.
Could SKS lookup the 1871 census and see who else may have been at this residence at this time.

Also

Above David Moir m. Cecilia Young in 1866 at Lochland House Arbroath.
IThis House is still in existance - it would appear from a photograph I have seen - that it was a house which may well have belonged to people of some wealth.
Does any one have any history on this building and what is it used for today.

My g.grandmother's occupation on her marriage cert. listed her as a Domestic Servant - she may well have been an employee of the owners at the time.- oe - was it here parents home?
