Hi' Listers,
Just posting my interest in William Duncan, crofter, Bourtie -m- Janet Christie. Their son (my GGG) John Duncan, mason & crofter, South Flobbets (1805-1877) -m- circa 1825 Ann Smith, midwife (1805-1865) Ann's parents William Smith, crofter, Tarves, -m- Rachel Reith. John and Ann had five sons and two daughters:- Alexander, my direct line, 1827-1883, William 1834-1912,
Rachel 1836-1924 -m- Robert Fyfe, John 1839-1908 -m- Jane Webster 1860, Charles 1841 ?, James 1843 ?, Ann 1847-1903 -m- 1867 to Charles Simmers 1845-1910, butcher/crofter. I would like to hear from any lister who has connections to the above.
