I just read your posting on the aberdeen list. I also have relatives
from Woodside, Aberdeen circa 1815.

My g.g.g.grandfather, Peter Mitchell, was born there in 1815. He married
Charlotte Smith, unknown place of birth, but she was born in 1818. They
married in France in 1840. My attempts at trying to get a marriage cert
from England and/or France has been futile to say the least!! I was
hoping to find out out more information from the marriage cert - like
parents names, dates of birth for Peter and Charlotte, etc. I'm not
sure that the birth dates I have for them are correct and I have not been
able to find either one of them on the IGI.

If you happen to find out anything about Woodside and the tenants or
names of tenants would you please let me know?? I'm absolutely thrilled
that someone else is looking for ancestors from Woodside also!! I was
beginning to wonder if the place even existed.....
