Hello Alan

I have a George Reidford in my Riddoch family line.

He married Mary Riddoch on 4 June 1852 at Alvah
and they had a daughter Mary Jane Reidford, born 16 May
1852 and a son James Riddoch Reidford, born 6 Feb 1856,
both born Alvah, however, by 1861 census Mary is listed as
a widow and is residing with her parents. It is possible that
George was born in Marnoch and may have been the George
Reidford born to John Reidford and Isobel Calder on 3 Dec
1831.

Do you have any knowledge of the above?
