My Calder's supposedly did live in Belhelvie. The handwritten family tree
I have has Margaret Cumming (nee Calder) "from Belhelvie".

In regards to Cumming, my mother descends from a Cumming line from Carmunnock
and Perth (Lanarkshire), Kirkintilloch, (Dunbartonshire) and Campsie (Sterlingshire).
They all had very large (12+ children) families. My mother's line came
to Ontario, Canada sometime around 1845.

By the way, what does "a Buchan name" mean?
