Hi everyone, my main interest is in MCGLASHAN and associated names of MCDONALD, STEELE, POLSON and OGSTON.

I am also interested in a William ROBERTSON, Clothier, Grocer & Spirit Merchant of Rathen. Father was George, died April 23 1874, brothers George (carpenter) and John (farmer), sisters Margaret and Mary. Mary was Goodwife at Mains of Perk? Not sure of the last bit. William was born abt.1853. I have a letter from him addressing my g.g. grandfather John McGlashan as 'uncle' but can't place him in the family.

Also have a letter from James LEITH, 7 King Street Place, Aberdeen to same John McGlashan dated 1879. Mentions(his son?) Alick in New Zealand.

Any interest out there?
