This is a long shot. My ggg grandmother was Mary Stephen b abt 1791 at
Rathen, m Peter Suttar, d 15 Dec 1857 at Peterhead Abd. Their children were
Mary Soutter b abt 1831, and Christian .

Mary m Alexander McBain (McBean) b 6 Jul 1823 Tomatin Croft, Moy and
Dalarossie Parish, Inverness-shire and d 3 Dec 1901 at 72 Roanheads
Peterhead. Alexander was a seaman in the Merchant Marine.

Could this family be part of the next generation of your Stephen family?
