I reply to lots of queries on this list, and also on the Moray list. After
replying to three queries out of about 20, in the last 3 months, back came
an infected attachment. I have had 2 " Bad -trans" virusses and the latest
one received yesterday was " Ha ha Snow-white ."
Fortunately I have Norton Anti Virus installed which scans all e-mail and
quarantines the infected attachment before opening.
These virusses attach themselves to mail in an infected person's mailbox,
and reply to the sender with a virus. So if you are infected, and you
receive 6 letters, a reply with a virus attached goes back to these 6 people
without you knowing anything about it !! And if these 6 people are
unprotected........

It would appear that there are a lot of people out there who are
unprotected, and therefore vulnerable to attack. For about £30 ( UK) you can
protect yourself, and others, from these nasty viruses.
Don't wait until it happens to you, because if you are not a computer
genius, it can cause you a lot of time and heartache trying to get rid of a
virus!!
