Siblings of my paternal grandmother, Alexandrina West (1866-1899, dau. of
James West and Margaret Geddes) who married James Hutchison, were:
Margaret Geddes West (1853-1931) married John Gray
Isabella Ann West (b.1857) married Thomas Stewart - possibly emigrated.
John West (1858-died 1876 Sourabaya, West Indies)
Mary Elizabeth West (1859-1937) married (1) James Mortimer; (2) William
Skene.
Jane Reid West (1861-1930) married Alexander Cormack
Maria West (1862-1891) married Alexander Gray (brother of Margaret's
husband).
James Shand West (1864-1924) married Jessie Sinton McLennan
David West (1868-1936) married Jessie G S Christie
Georgina West (b.1873). In 1916 she was apparently married (husband
unknown) and in New York.

The West family originated in Doune (Macduff) and went to Aberdeen via
Lossiemouth.
