If you travel along the A944 Aberdeen to Alford Road, you will come to Tillyfourie (a mile from where I was born) a short distance towards Alford you will come to a T intersection at Whiteley, turn west to the Kirkton of Tough, travel through the Kirkton for another 2 miles you will see on a map the farm Woodhead located near a pond.(small lake)
