On the subject of Woodhead as a policeman, it is very commonly found
anywhere there is, or was a stand of trees, particularly on a slope.
There is probably a Woodhead in just about every parish in the
North-East of Scotland where trees grow. I have seen even more than one
on the maps of some parishes. I think you would need more information
than just Woodhead to get the correct one.
