I hope that some one can help me find informatiom about John William ALLAN born in Gilmerton, Scotland. He married Margaret WHITSON, born somewhere in Scotland. They had at least 2 sons, possibly more, I don't know yet.
The two sons are Hugh Jamieson ALLAN born in 1877, died June 1967 in Edinburgh, Scotland and buried June 13th 1967 in Liberton Cemetary, Edinburgh Scotland.
The 2nd brother is George W ALLAN, born April 25, 1903 in Gilmerton, Scotland. Died June 28, 1942 in Lihuton, Scotland. Buried on July 02, 1942 beside his brother. George came to Canada in 1921. He married Anges Hay LAWSON on November 06, 1925 in Copper Cliff, Ontario. Their children are Agnes Margarret ALLAN born May 11, 1928, Barbara Joyce ALLAN born February 01, 1931, and George Ian ALLAN born July 12, 1940.

If anyone sees anything here that they recognize, please let me know. I would love to find these people because they were never talked about when I was growing up.
