Hello Janell
Firstly, if you are having trouble reading the Digest version of the list,
why not unsubscribe from Digest and subscribe to List.
Secondly, I don't think I have a connection to your Marr's, but one never
knows.
My Marr's are - David Marr married to Jean/Jane Connon on 18/7/1773. they
had, to my knowledge three children:- Margaret, 12.2.1781-19.2.1882; (my
g.g grandmother)George, 17.4.1778-?; Alexander, 22.5.1774-? On the IGI
there was also one more Marr christened in Ellon, Bairnie-Tillydesk (Episc)
and that was a David Marr, 8.2.1768. Don't know where he fits in but he was
the only other person with the Marr name christened in that place.
Regards Anne

>My Marr ancestors emigrated to the US from Aberdeen in about 1886.Those who
came were William (listed as a quarryman), his wife Catherine Reid
Robertson, and a few young children. I know his father was also William
married to Mary Ann Taylor, and that William's father was Archibald Marr
married to Barbara Anderson.
>Does anyone have information? I would love to find other descendants still
living in Scotland, or any advice prior to my trip to Aberdeen in April.
>I am having trouble reading the Digest so please reply directly if you have
information.
