I am looking for information on John MITCHELL who married Jannet GORDON in Aberdeen in the early 1800's. They had 7 children that I know of, Isobel, Alexander, George, John, James, Francis, and another daughter whose name I do not know. Francis MITCHELL married Marion GILBERT and had children William, John, James, Alexander, Adam, Christina, Isabelle and Jane. They immigrated to the United States in 1870 (ish) to Minnesota. Some of Francis' siblings were in the US already, in Wisconsin and Minnesota.

I DO have the information from the LDS site. I'm interested in who John MITCHELL's parents were. I have a document from a decesed relative that lists a Christopher MITCHELL as his father. It also says that they were all farmers who were born in Gartly on the same farm.
