Hi Barbara, I have Christian Robertson, b about 1845m her parents John Robertson and Mary McKenzie and her grandfather William Robertson who was married to Jane Wilson. All seem to be from the Aberdeen area. That is as far as I've got on the Robertsons - it hasnt been one of the more fruitful ones. We live in hope ?
I will keep on looking though.
Thanks
Christina

Christina, I always reach for any straws I happen to see, and I saw one in
your letter!

May I ask when and where your Robertson are/were? I have some who were in
Monymusk in the mid to late 1700's. (I know the family were there long
before then, but I have no idea of how far back they go.I

I have William Robertson, b prob ca 1740-50, who marr Jane ROSS, d/o
Alexander ROSS of Balnagowen/Balnagowan. William was s/o James Robertson &
unknown spouse. James R. was s/o Sir Archibald R. "My" Archibald, b 1765
@ Monymusk, and came to America (NY) in 1791.

I have lots more info on this family after he came to America, but very
little in Scotland. If anyone happens to have any information about this
family, I'd LOVE to hear from you!

Thanks for any help,

Barbara in Missouri (but originally from NYC)
