Ballater is (was) in the parish of Glenmuick located on Deeside & Glenbuchat
is on Donside.

Hello Doug

I had a look at the website you recommended and the 2 names I am looking
for - Forbes and Mcdonald, are both listed. The question I have for you is
this please - "are Glenbuchat and Glenbuick one and the same place?" as I
believe mine were from there. It was certainly from near Ballater, but I do
not know where exactly Glenbuchet was. So far, I have hit brick walls with
these families.
