Kerryn, I have connections to several of those places in Ellon, in
particular:

- several AITKENs at Broomfield in the 1868-1890 timeframe
- Andrew MILNE & Helen (BRUCE) MILNE & family living in 1881 at Cottar
House, Littlemill, Esslemont - one of the children of this family was
born in 1865 at Mains of Esslemont, another in 1855 at Overton of
Dudwick
- James AITKEN & Charlotte (GLENNIE) AITKEN & family at Mill of
Waterton in the 1890-1904 timeframe
