Can some one help me with this;
the only information I have on my ggggrandfather is ,his name was James Innes
he married Isobel Mair in Forque in 1797.
I dont know when or where ,or to whom James Innes , was born.

I have some notes ,saying that James was at Boghead of Cobairdy by 1798.

How can one verify that James was at Boghead of Cobairdy in 1798 ?

I would think that he was a crofter, or a farm labourer.

Any help is greatly appreciated
