Nick, that's a very generous offer that you've made, and I hope you won't
regret it!
Do you have any ROBERTSONs or ROSSs on your extra death certificates? My
Robertson ancestors were in Monymusk, Aberdeenshire. Two R'son brothers came
to America, Archibald in 1791 and Alexander came ca 1792/3. There were
still two brothers in Monymusk, and it seems that one of them wasn't in
the best of health. He was James, b sometime afer 1765, and died young.
There also was a sister, Katy, and possibly another sibling, name and sex
unknown.
William, the father, was b in 1732, and he d 1811(prob. both events were
in Monymusk). His wife, Jane Ross, b ca 1738, and d before 9 Mar 1811, when
her husband died.
Jane was d/o Alexander of Balnagawan/Balnagowen, which, I think is also in
Aberdeenshire.
Anything you might find about either of these families would be great!
