I have been researching my father's side of the family and can only seem
to find as far back as 1840. What I'm really hoping to find is living
BLAKEs.

So here's what I've got so far...

James BLAKE (my GGrandfather) married Margaret Johnston

Charles b Sep9 1899
Alexander b Sep9 1899 d 1971

Robert Sharpe BLAKE (my grandfather) married Margaret Heuer d 1920
children
Robert James BLAKE (my father) later adopted in Hawaii in 1920

Alexander also went to Hawaii where he married Dorothy (d 1987) and had at
least one daughter Mary

I also know my father listed relatives on some military paper work as
Mrs. D.J. Heslop 24 O'hara St. Marrickville, Sidney, NSW and
M.A. Daniel 31 Mount St. Aberdeen, Scotland
but I haven't found any connection to them.

I know I can check scotslandpeople site, but since it cost so much I'm
hoping someone on the list might know more and hopefully some living
relatives.
