thanks Bob
I am new to list and not sure as to what to do. I will do that in the
future.
My Alex Lawrence I think died in the US. I have letters from a brother who
mailed him a letter to US in NY and he was in Geneesse county. Can not find
him.
I need to make a correction from the email last night that listed
siblings----it was 11pm and I was tired and got families mixed up. The
siblings belong to my Porter line in Ireland.
William Laurance (as he spelled it) I think only has Alex and Charles ---at
least right now.
The William who was living with grand parents might not be my connection
because he was 5 years old born in Fyvie, Aberdeen, Scotland. I found he was
born in Old Deer. Are they close to each other??
In the IGI I did find William Fraser Lawrence with the right date of birth
with parents William Lawrence and Jessie Kennedy. Now I can not find them
but did find a marriage in 1844.
Thanks for everything. This group is great. I am finding more now than ever.
He has been such a brick wall for so long. Now I am finding infor.
