Thanks for the info. I have had my eye on Buckner ABERNATHY, the Methodist
Minister, since he shows up in both the 1850 (DeSoto Co MS) and 1860 (Sevier Co
AR) Censuses as living close to my GRAVES line. I couldn't be sure since in both
cases it shows his wife as Mary A. I'll write to Arvord about his book (does he
have an EMail address?) but can you tell me if it lists James Buckner ABERNATHY's
children and is Martha Jane ABERNATHY GRAVES one of them?
