I'd still be interested in knowing what kind of name this is. It's a possible
link to Sarah's parentage (or at least, to where she originally came from).
My guess is that it might be some sort of Celtic/Pict name, originally spelled
with nine zillion consonants and one vowel. I suspect it got Anglicized to
Cub-whatever.
Also, I've seen some reference that Sara was actually a Cubigge who married a
Cubisha (or vice versa). As usual, there was no documentation for that
"fact.". Have you heard anything along those lines and, if so, any indication
that there's evidence to back it??
