Just thought I would let you know I was back from the St. Louis area where
I
visited my parents for a week and had a great time!

Mom and Dad are the "greatest", although as a child I did not always think
that.
Since being an adult, and having raised a family, it certainly gives me a
whole
new perspective on the subject! FAMILY IS MOST IMPORTANT, and we must
not let the information/treasures they hold escape our grasp! NOW IS THE
TIME TO GATHER THE INFORMATION/ DO NOT WAIT UNTIL IT IS TOO LATE!

A person is never too young to start; I only wish that I would have started
when I
was still at home and was close to the sources! I started when my babies
were
small and I realized that if I were going to be able to pass on my family
history,
I would have to start NOW!!

I have been very fortunate in that I had forethought to gather as much
information that I could from older members in the family. I have several
very interesing stories to tell about my experiences in finding family
connections!

How fortunate to have a taped radio interview of my father on a St. Louis
station; it covered my father's hobby/business-- ANTIQUE RADIO
RESTERATIONS! How wondeful it is to have a history of my father's life
interest on tape and much in his own words/voice! THIS IS A TREASURE!
