I am posting this on behalf of Joe Baker who writes ...

Hi. I am looking for my great grandfather, Joseph Duplisea. I believe
he was French Canadian or Acadian. Maybe a little of both. He and his
family lived in the Andover / Perth area in the early 1900s. Family
rumer has Joseph coming to Andover from Quebec. I believe Duplisea /
Duplissis / Duplessis is a derivative of the French name "dit (Savour)
Duplissis".

Joseph Duplisea m. Annie Lois Brayall (B. in the Tilly, Victoria County,
NB, area)
Both Joseph and Annie are show as deceased by 1956. Children of Joseph
and Annie:

1. Madeline Martha Duplisea (My grandmother) b. Oct. 28, 1912 - Tilly,
Victoria, NB, Canada
2. Elmer Duplisea
3. Deliah (Delilah) Duplisea - (my have married a "Gamblin").
4. Velma Duplisea (my have married a "McLean").

Searching for: DIT (SAVOUR ) DUPLISEA / DUPLISEA / DUPLISSIS /
DUPLESSIS /
ETC.
BRAYALL / GAMBLIN / Mc LEAN

California
