Hi, I need some BIG help on this one:

Marie Josephe Boudrot, who married Pierre Richard, and had a daughter named
Marie Richard, who married Benjamin Smith in CT. in 1769.

There are several people with the first three names...my biggest problem.
None of them really check out right. The Pierre Richard I first believed to
be the husband of MJ. Boudrot died in Miquelon...he and his daughter Marie
Richard could not have been in Miquelon, because Marie married Benjamin
Smith in CT.

So, I need Marie Josephe's parents....hoping to find the right Pierre
Richard, once I get his wife's name and parents right. Since I know that
Marie Richard and Ben Smith married in 1769, that would mean her mother,
Marie Josephe Boudrot should have been born roughly 40 - 50 years earlier?
around 1700-1720, in Acadia? Marie Josephe died before 1755, as she was not
deported to CT with her fmily, and Pierre subsequently married again...from
all the facts I have been able to piece together.

I cannot find this lady anywhere! I know her records were not lost in the
deportation, because she died prior to that--so they should be somewhere in
the Acadian history. Unless I am completely wrong about all of this...which
I guess could be a possibility?

Thanks for any help anyone can give me...

Mary Anne
