Hi Folks:

The following message is posted for the benefit of "new" members of this
ACADIAN-CAJUN Mailing List and will be re-posted on an ongoing basis.

I occasionally receive complaints from subscribers of this Mailing List,
advising that they have received _private_ message(s) from other
subscriber(s) severely criticizing the content of their earlier posts on
the Mailing List. I've said it before and I'll repeat it again...while I
rather enjoy a heated discussion, there is no reason anyone need accept any
blatant "flaming" (personal attack) message(s)...whether on this List or in
messages sent _privately_!

If "flaming" messages are received from non-subscribers of the List,
there's not much I can do about it however, I can certainly deal with
_subscribers_ who take "personal shots" at others.

I send this message rather hesitantly/reluctantly, because I know it
applies to less than 1% of the (now 650+) subscribers of this ACADIAN-CAJUN
Mailing List....to those in that category, my apology for the
inconvenience...just hit the "delete" key. For the others, please send me a
_private_ message, providing copy of the offending message(s) and your
subsequent replies and I will deal with it.
