Hello Mike,
Thanks for your interest. I still have relatives in Carleton, Maria,
Bonaventure and Campbellton. i of course know people in Cambellton,
Dalhousie and Charlo(Use to fly small planes out of Charlo)
I also know some Arsenault's and went to school with others.
What's your father in law's first name, age? and does he have relatives in
Campbellton?
Sure would appreciate any help you can provide re: sites in the above
location. Kris McIntyre mentions places like you do and useful info like the
Dalhousie Library part of the New Brunswick Genealogy Society
Restigouche branch that i have yet to check out. But i don't know if they
have a website. Be great to click on a site without having to use search
engines. All together we can share..make it fun and interesting.
Thanks again
Jim
Jim:I've been following the "LeBlanc in Carleton" thread with great
interest. My
wife is a distant cousin of Kris McIntyre's husband.
I, too want to find out how Louis Arsenault got from PEI to Carleton.
Probably in the same boat as your LeBlanc ancestors.
I know there is a Gaspesie web site - I'll see if I can find an address for
it. For that matter there is one for Cambellton and for Dalhousie.
My father-in-law is an Arseneault from Charlo.Mike
