Hi Jim.. Jacques LeBlanc and Catherine Hébert did not have a Geneviève nor
did they have an Antoine. They had only one son named Jean who was born in
Abt. 1674 - he married Marguerite Richard abt 1698. Here are the other
children and their spouses:

Marguerite LeBlanc married François Cormier abt 1692.
Jacques married Elisabeth (Isabelle) Boudreau abt 1715.
MARIE LEBLANC married Alexis Cormier Abt. 1697(one of my lines).
Anne LeBlanc married Pierre Breau Abt. 1705.
CATHERINE LEBLANC married Pierre Cormier abt 1702 (one of my lines)
Pierre married Marie Landry 15 November 1718
René married Jeanne Landry abt 1708
Cécile married Michel Boudreau abt 1708
Madeleine married Michel Haché dit Gallant 12 October 1711
François married Marguerite Boudreau 19 September 1712
Bernard married Marie Bourque 07 February 1713/14
Ignace was born about 1692.

I would like to answer your question though about why they would have named
two sons Jean - in this case there were not two Jeans but many Acadian
families who had a child that died often named another child born later by
the same name. I have one ancestor who named three children by the same
name - they all died as infants. Lucie
