To all those who have made use of the "Acadian Descendants" data bases
and/or have added to it, my many thanks. The site is not my work but is a
compilation of many others research.

When I accepted gedcoms or other information from these researchers for
inclusion on the site it was with the provision it would not be used for
commercial or religious purposes, but would be shared at no cost or
obligation to other researchers.

The site was hosted by genweb.net at no cost to me. They allowed the site
over 150 meg of space and I am truly grateful for this generosity.

The site is not being closed due to lack of monetary support, since none is
required. Nor is it being closed due to lack of use since the site was being
visited 800 to 1000 times per week.

It is a shame that when I now have the time to devote to this site, that my
eyesight and finger dexterity will no longer allow me to continue updating,
correcting, making additions and page construction to keep the site current.

I can not in good faith to those who have shared their research with me
allow the site to be transferred, copied or in any other way reproduced in
any printed or electronic form. Please be aware that the information on the
site has hidden code that identifies the posted information as being from
the compiled "Acadian Ancestors" data base/s and therefore "borrowed"
without the owners permission.

I will however extract, in gedcom or the below program format, your
individual ANCESTRAL trees. I will extract the allied lines, i.e.. xxx
Hebert married to xxx LeBlanc, I will if requested extract the female xxx
LeBlanc line in a separate file. All extraction will be done only by Email
request, direct to me. I will not extract all the DESCENDANTS of any
individual, i.e. Antoine Hebert's full line.

Please note that I can extract in a format for the following programs

Brothers Keeper, Roots4, FTW4, Reunion4, Generations4, PAF3, Family Tree
Maker & Family Origins4,

Please note that the information on the present site does NOT contain any
references (sources??) except those from S Whites latest work. The above
gedcoms would have whatever references, (sources ??) are available in the
data base.

Again my thanks for your support and encouragement, without it the entire
effort would have been useless.
