Sorry Gary: I have not been able to gain access to the NB Statistics, as
they are re-organizing their set-up. However , here is the one that I used

The latest url site recommended by the latest web site publication is
http://www.gnb.ca/supply/archives/index.htm
My search engines were unable to make any "hits" at this url. If you
have any success please advise. I was able to find 211 records of births
for 1801-1899 for Blanchards, 215 records for Savoie for births 1887-1899,
147 records for melanson for births 1887-1899 etc. I also had a list of
Robichauds, but have since misplaced it. ( thats why I was trying to get
access again!)...best of luck.
