Hi:
I'm Don Boudreaux born and raised in Louisiana, spent 27 years in
Houston and spent many
days at Clayton Library. I was a computer Systems Analyst and retired in
1992 and made
genealogy my full time job. My parents are Boudreaux and Rollinson. I
have all the Boudreaux
but dead ended on my grandfather George Rollinson who was born about
1878 and died in 1931
in Morgan City, LA. We moved from Houston to Lafayette in 1993 and I got
bored so put every
name in Bona Arsenault's Histoire Et Genealogie Des Acadiens into a
genealogy program and found
so many discrepancies I published a 101 page book of them. Then I
started a new project of getting
every Boudreaux (200 different spellings) I could find and put them into
a database. This is still an
ongoing project and I am currently at almost 70,000 names with almost
half of them Boudreaux. I try
and help everyone I can find make their connection to our progenitor
Michel Boudrot and Michelle
Aucoin and hope someday to find his parents. I am treasurer of the
Boudreaux Family Association and
we have a website at www.boudreauxfamily.org.
If you know of anyone looking for a Boudreaux connection feel free to
give them my name.
Don Boudreaux, Lafayette, LA.
