Scott,
According to Stephen White "Dictionnaire Généaogique des Familles
Acadiennes" pg 1186-1188. André Mignier dit Lagassé and his entire family
were living in Beaubassin 1686 and and Riv Ste-Croix dit Miramichi in 1688.
It appears that many of the family returned to Québec by 1693, where several
of the other children married in Rivière-Ouelle and André and several others
died.
The following is a transcription of the information from White's book on

René Martin dit Barnabé (Barnabé & Jeanne Pelletret)
Explanatory Note (SA White)
Given that Lagacé (Lagassé) is the alterative family name of the Migniers in
Québec, it is not surprising that the Marie "Lagassé" who was a servant in
the household of the seigneur of Beaubassin in the 1686 census should also
appear in the censuses of 1693, 1698, and 1700, as Marie "Minier", wife of
René Martin dit Barnabé.
Explanatory Note (RA Gravois)
Brigitte Martin, daughter of René Martin and Marie mignier, arrived at
St-Malo from Englad in 1763 accompanied by her nephew, Joseph Gravois
Junior. According to his marriage record (Rg Bbn 18 Oct 1718), Joseph
Gravois Senior was the son of a third Joseph Gravois and Marie "Muner", who
had been residents of Port-Royal. This mention of the relationship between
Brigitte Martin and joesph Gravois junior proves that Marie "Muner" was in
fact Marie Mignier who had married secondly René Martin.

Subject: Lagace to Acadia?
Anyone have a thought on how Andre Mignier dit Lagace's daughter Marie
Mignier dit Lagace (born October 13, 1671) wound up getting married in far
away Acadia, first to Joseph Gravios and then to my ancestor Rene "Barnabe"
Martin? Andre was a member of the Carignan-Salières Regiment and he, and his
family, settled in Charlesbourg. None of Andre's other children moved out of
the St. Lawrence valley during their lifetimes....
