Pam,

The marriages of the two Billardin girls at Assumption Church in
Plattenville, LA, states they were natives of Morlaix (France). Mr.
Albert Robichaux has published several books relating to the Acadians
in France but I don't believe they cover the department of Finistere
where Morlaix is located. The family is also listed the Mr.
Robichaux's listings of the Spanish census' of 1788, 1791, 1795, 1797
and 1798 of the settlements along Bayou Lafourche.
