Hi Paul,
According to Jette the name is Pilois or Pilie. Since Pilois is first, I
would use that name and place Pilie in the notes as an alternate
spelling.
Remember that at that time many did not know how to read and write so
names
were often recorded as they sounded by a notary or priest.
