Your Jean-Baptiste is listed as Jean in the Dictionnaire by Stephen A.
White.

Jean Cormier who married Marie-Madeleine Bernard Abt. 1760 was the son of
Pierre (dit de La Côte) Cormier and Marguerite Cy who married abt 1721.
Pierre was born Bet. 1701-1703 and died Before 22 July 1748.

Marguerite Cyr was born Abt. 1707 and died 26 December 1757 at Québec. She
was the daughter of Jean Cyr and Françoise Melanson who married Abt. 1698.

Pierre Cormier dit de La Cote was the son of Alexis Cormier and Marie
LeBlanc who married Abt. 1697. Alexis was born Abt. 1676 and Marie LeBlanc
was born Abt. 1680. That is all the information available on them.

Marie LeBlanc was the daughter of Jacques LeBlanc and Catherine Hebert.
Jacques was the son of Daniel LeBlanc and Francoise Gaudet.

who married Abt. 1668. Thomas was born Abt. 1636 and died Abt. 1693,
Marie-Madeleine Girouard was born Abt. 1654. Her parents were François
Girouard dit Lavaranne and Jeanne Aucoin who married Abt. 1647.
