I am looking for any info on Ovey and Ada Landry. They are both buried in
Mire Cemetery in Vermilion Parish, LA.
Ovey-born Oct. 26, 1892 and died May 29, 1973. Ada (nee Landry) born Oct. 31,
1894 and died Jan. 30 1975. They had the following children:

1.Clifton Landry - married Hettie Sonnier. Clifton died December 21, 1994 in
a Lafayette, LA hospital. He is buried in Lacassine cemetery, Lacassine, LA.
Hettie died in 1974 and is buried there also.

Info on CLIFTON LANDRY

Funeral services for Clifton Landry, 75, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23,
in Hixson Funeral Home.
The Rev. Pete Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Lacassine Cemetery.
Visitation is from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. today, with a 7 p.m. rosary; and from 8
a.m. Friday.
Mr. Landry died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 1994, in a Lafayette hospital.
A native of Lacassine, he lived most of his life in Lake Charles before
moving to New Iberia. He retired from Livingston Shipbuilders in Orange,
Texas.
Survivors are five sons, C.J. Landry of Lafayette, Arthur Lee Landry of
Vidor, Texas, Wayne Landry of Moss Bluff, Lane Landry of Sulphur and Kirk
Landry; four daughters, Linda Arsement, both of Lake Charles, Jane Speer of
New Iberia, Virgie Hughes of Westlake, and Dale Taylor of Sweetlake; two
brothers, Harris Landry of Woodlawn and Clyde Landry of Lake Charles; two
sisters, Agnes Fontenot of Iota and Mercedes LeJeune of Sulphur; 22
grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
