DUGAS, Charles born in Acadie; widower of Marguerite Granger (Claude & Anna
Hebert of Acadie) m. 25 June 1797 Francoise Trahant-born in Acadie; widow of
Pierre Trahan (Pierre Trahant & Jeanne Daigle of Acadie (Hebert SWLAR v. 1A
p. 270). Charles and his children arrived in Louisiana 15 August 1785 on La
Bergere.
DUGAS, Aman of Acadie (Claude Dugas & Anne Hebert) m. 11 Jan 1779 Genevieve
Robichaud- of Acadie (Rene & Marguerite Martin) (Hebert SWLAR v. 1A p. 268).
Aman probably arrived in Louisiana between 1777 and 1779.
LANDRY, Jean-Baptiste (Antoine & Marie-Blanche Leblanc) m. 2) Isabelle
(Elizabeth) Dugas (Claude & Anne Hebert) (SAW Dictionnaire p. 936).
Jean-Baptiste and his family arrived in Louisiana 15 August 1785 on La
Bergere.

p. 97).
FOUGERE, Charles (Jean & Marie Bourg) m. Port Toulouse ca 1754 Madeleine
Dugas (Joseph & Marguerite Coste) (SAW Dictionnair p. 643). Madeleiene was
born ca 1740 (SAW Dictionnaire p. 419).
PETITPAS, Louis (Claude Petitpas & Francoise Lavergne) m. ca 1761
Marie-Josephe dit Rosette Dugas (Joseph & Marguerite Coste), widow of Pierre
Boudrot. (SAW Dictionnaire p. 1298).
DUGAS, Joseph (Joseph & Marguerite Coste) was born ca 1731 (SAW Dictionnaire
p. 419). He married (?) ca 1761 Cecile Bergeron (Barthelemy & Marguerite
Dugas). If this is correct, then Joseph fils married his first cousin. The
Marguerite Dugas married to Barthelemy Bergeron and the mother of Cecile
Bergeron was the sister of Joseph pere (SAW Dictionnaire p. 565). Joseph and
Cecile were imprisoned in Halifax, came to Louisiana with Joseph Broussard
in February 1765, and settled in Attakapas where Joseph died in the Fall of
1765.
DUGAS, Pierre (?Jean & Marguerite Coste?) married ca. 1752 Marguerite Daigle
(?Charles & Francoise Doucet?). Pierre and his family arrived in Louisiana
15 August 1785 on La Bergere.
