Hi,
I am looking for information on Jacques Molaison (Moleson) b. abt. 1745 m.
abt 1770
Marie Doiron b. abt 1750. I believe they were from Acadia, of the refugees
sent to France. I cannot seem to locate their parents.
Their daughter is listed in the Diocese of Baton Rouge Church Records as:
Rosette Moylesson (Moliason) and Marie Rose Moleson of Poitou. She was
probably born about 1770.
She was the wife of Louis Daigle (s/o Francois Marie Daigle (descendant of
Olivier Daigle/Daigre) and Jeanne Holeyte) b. abt 1765 in Cherbourg,
Normandie, France, and the mother of :
Marie Rose (Rosalie) Daigle b. abt 1790 (France or America???) m. Victor
Hebert
b. 2-19-1788 St. Gabriel, Iberville, LA m. 5-2-1808.
Sorry about the unexact birthyears, they are estimated guesses, but this is
all I have to go by. Is anyone fammiliar with this family? Any help would be
appreciated.
Heather
