I didn't think they were the same two men, but needed feedback, because I
did not have a Jacques Lachausse [son of Philippe] in my file.
I did a little digging in Tanguay, and I believe the Jacques Lachausse
[spouse of Rose/Rosalie Thibodeaux] could be the son of Jacques PEPIN [dit
Lachaune ?] & Marie Therese Lessard of Canada, but this is not my direct
line, so I did not persue enough to reach any conclusion.

Jacques Lachaussee who married Marie-Marthe LeBlanc 7 February 1768 was the
son of Dr. Philippe Lachaussee and his first wife, Francoise Gaudin. He was
born ca 1752 and died before the 14 September 1769 Cabanocey census where
Family #52 is Marie LeBlanc, widow Lachause, age 20. Marie-Marthe remarried
Paul Breau before the 30 April 1770 Ascension census where she is listed as
his wife (Family #151).
Jacques Lachaussee who married Rose Thibodeau was a French Canadian, the son
of Jacques Lachaussee and Marie-Therese Lessard.
