Hi to all my genealogy email contacts !
Ready to print ...
The second edition of the Br(e)au(lt)(x)... book is now finished and
is ready to be printed. The book will be 478 pages long (48 more pages than
the first edition because of the numerous changes, corrections and additions
since 1999) and should include a CD-ROM.
It will thus be ready in time for the CMA2004 (World Acadian
Congress) due to start in 12 days and in 14 days for the family reunion !
Hope to meet many of you there ! I hope to have a small genealogy booth
during the "genealogical connections" activity at the family reunion (from
10 to 3 August 3rd and 4th) to help people retrace their lineage and if
possible have a small conference on the history of the family somewhere
between these two days.
Those who might be interested in that edition of the genealogy book,
can email me and I'll send them the flyer containing the details about this
edition and the order form. The book will be offered in 3 versions again: a
three hole edition, a softbound edition (costs for those two will be 45$
american/60$ Canadian) and a deluxe edition bound like a "real" book at the
cost of 60$ american/85$ Canadian). These prices include handling and
shipping charges.
I am interested in knowing who amongst yourselves is interested in
buying a copy in order to print enough copies ? If you attend the CMA2004 in
Nova Scotia in 2 weeks, I can bring your copy with me there and will rebate
it of 5$ because there will be no postage fees. At the CMA2004, the deluxe
edition WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE as the artisan who does my deluxe binders is
on vacation, he'll be back at the end of August.
