I have explored the possiblilty of Jean Baptiste Landry (Jean Baptiste &
Marguerite Comeau)as perhaps being the one who married Madeline Broussard,
but I don't think that this is for the following reasons.

DGFA, p. 924 - Jean Baptiste Landry b. abt 1686(Claude & Marie Catherine
Thibodeau)died before May 16, 1763 [from Southampton to St. Malo]

'The Acadian Exiles in St. Malo', Albert Robichaux, Jr., p. 531: states
that Marguerite Comeau, the "...widow of Jean Baptiste Landry and her
children: Eustache & Jean Landry disembarked with the family of Hilaire
Landry, son of Marguerite Commaux, at St. Malo from England on May 22,
1763..."

'The Acadian Exiles in St. Malo', Albert Robichaux, Jr., p. 1052: The
marriage of Isidore Robichaux & Marguerite Boudrot, d/o decd. Joseph Boudrot
& Helene Landry. [Helene is the daughter of Jean Baptiste Landry &
Marguerite Comeau and sister to the "Jean Baptiste Landry" in question].
Among the witnesses to this marriage are "...Hilaire Landry, uncle of the
bride; Jean Landry, uncle of the bride;..."

This marriage took place at St. Servan on 4 April 1769...so it is unlikely
that Jean Baptiste Landry, s/o Jean Baptiste & Marguerite Comeau, would have
been the one to marry Madeleine Broussard, who we know had been remarried to
Olivier Thibodeaux and had children on and prior to May 10, 1765 in
Louisiana.

According to SAW "DICTIONNAIRE" p. 936 Jean-Baptiste Landry, son of Antoine
Landry & Marie-Blanche LeBlanc married 1) 30 Jul 1748 Elisabeth Aucoin and
2) ca 1759 Isabelle Dugas. No mention of a marriage to Madeleine Broussard.

There is some indication that the parents of the Jean-Baptiste Landry
married to Madeleine Broussard may be Jean-Baptiste Landry (SAW p. 924) &
Marguerite Comeau (SAW p. 378) but I have no source to confirm this.

Later, Madeleine Broussard, daughter of Alexandre Broussard and Marguerite
Thibodeaux and widow of Jean-Baptiste Landry, married ca. 1760, Olivier
Thibodeaux, son of Charles Thibodeaux & Francoise Comeau.
