Went to Miramachi (sp) tuesday asked about Acadian 1758-1759 location. Surprise,
Surprise, Surprise tourist bureau[(X) (HA HA)] knew nothing about it only later
settlers. Went to restaurant on shore of river and had Salmon cooked on Cedar
plank and thought of our people.

drove back to Moncton tuesday night.

Wens - Went to U Moncton research center. I also met Ronnie Le B. He
remembered you Jim. He helped me solve one of my three remaining Acadian brick
walls. The embarrising part was he showed him to me in the books I had brought
with me from LA. (My face was red) Acadian Musume closed for renevation.
Jim I will need to see your tape.

Lucie had left the night before

drove to Sackville to get early start on Fort Beausejeur (SP). Guide asked me if
I knew history of fort? I answered 300 of my relatives were forceably armed and
made to help defend fort. She said very seldom is someone that knowlegable. In
movie mentioned a Joseph Broussard capturing British Officer. I wonder if he was
the one who came to LA.

Headed for St John, stopped at tourist office. Mentioned family use to own land
in area. She looked Questioning at the LA boy!!! Explained decendent of de La
Tour.

I may go look for site of Fort La Tour in St. John in the AM and then head for
Maine tomorrow. Wonder if I will see any advertisements of Acadian Settlements
along coast.

I should hit Penn Sunday or Monday night and NC Tuesday or Wens night will call
as soon as things finalize.
