Your #2 needs a little clarification.

Jean-Charles, son of Jean-Charles,bn 12/15/1771, and Felicite Dugas, bn
1744, was born 2/22/1800. [Note: He was the second son named
Jean-Charles - the first was born in 1796 and died in 1798]

Felicite Dugas was the 1st wife of Jean-Charles bn 12/15/1771. They had
4 children. She died 3/4/1800 shortly after Jean-Charles was born.
Jean-Charles then married Celeste Dupuis and they had 9 children.

Jean-Charles, bn 2/22/1800, married Celeste Cormier and their son
[Jean]Charles was born abt 1822. He married Marie Gautreaux in 1844.
