In the New Orleans Records there is only 2 entries for surname of MICHEL.
1) Marguerite, i, Jan 29, 1752 (SCB, B1, 67)

2) Pierre (Jacques & Anne Breau), native of Port Royal in Acadia, m. Marie
Leger, March 3, 1766, w. Jourdain, Amand Prejean, Nicole Leger (SLC, B5,
190)
