Hi,
I found these two entries which are basically yhe same from Fr. Donald
Hebert's Southwest Louisiana Records CD 101. You could possibly write to the
Court House in Opelousas to learn who the parents were.

BORDELON, Zelima m. 16 Nov. 1863 Louis DEVILLE (Opel. Ct. Hse.: Mar. # 2430)
DEVILLE, Louis m. 16 Nov. 1863 Zelima BORDELON (Opel. Ct. Hse.: Mar. #
2430)

I also found these entries, I cannot say for certain that these are the same
individuals however.

DEVILLE, Louis (Louis & Marie JEANSONNE) bt. 21 Sept. 1806 at age 5 mths.
Spons: Andre JEANSONNE & Marie JOUBERT. Fr. Louis BUHOT (Opel. Ch.: v.1-B,
p.389)

BORDELON, Zelima (Michel BORDELON [although record erroneously has WAIBLE] &
Divine ROY) b. 11 Nov. 1821, bt. 8 Jan. 1823 Pats: Michel BORDELON & Marie
WAIBLE [WYBLE]; Mats: Joseph ROY & Nannette BORDELON; Spons: Michel JANIS
& Celeste BORDELON. Fr. Flavius Henri ROSSI (Opel. Ch.: v.2, p.256)

Looking for the parents of Selima Bordelon married to Louis Jean Deville in
1863 in Ville Platte. Their children are Homer, Onezia and Orelie. Winston

Deville's Deville book has a birth of Dec 30, 1846 but no parents. I cannot

find that birth record or baptismal record.
