Jean Baptiste (Louis & Marie Bergeron) m 9 Feb. 1773, Margurita Braud
(Aman & Marie Josepha Landri, Acadians) wit Louis LaConte & Pierre
Bijean (ASC-1, 122)
(Braud is Breau(x))
v 2 p 150 has Margurita half of entry with Chauvin spelled as Choben
& Margarita death entry.
v 1b p 18-19 Pointe Coupee records has entries for possible "Bergerons?"
as early as 1744 .
Has anyone run across them before? Did they die out or get lost into
the Acadian ones? (like Andy's Bro?)
Chauvins came down to Louisiana from Illinois 1763 & there may be one
from Mobile pre 1763. Louis Chauvin & Marie Bergeron would have been
married by mid-1740s.
Bergerons in Ill. or Mobile, any ideas?
All suggestions & comments welcome.
