Hi, can someone tell me what the below means in English? It is from Stephen
White's book vol. 1 pg. 485 for Pierre DU TARTRE DENYS.

brule vif par les Iroquois Riviere-du-Loup fin Juill 1687/s Rg
Riviere-Quelle.

I think it possibly means he was killed by the Iroquois, but I want to be
