Hi Andy, Stanley, & Lucie,
Yes, he is my Andre' Temple' (later, Templet, in La.). He
& his 2 nd family went to Nantes' in the 4 convoys from the
Chatellerault area in 1775. I had not come across this
incident before (thanks), but he, Margeurite, and the remaining
8 of their 12 children were the 2nd family registered as Andre
Trample on the first of the 7 ships, Le Bon Papa, which sailed
on May 10, 1785, and arrived in New Orleans on July 29, 1785.
Stanley, et al, I met another of our main line last Saturday at
Bluebonnet Regional Library... she, Jenny LeBlanc Hanner,
was one of the presenters at its Genealogy Conference. I told
her of you and your great web-site... and I will also pass on
to her about yours, Lucie. She was the last presenter and we
just visited for a moment.
