See the Huguenot Settlers in North America and Europe on my Books and
Publications page at http://www.thecajuns.com/books.htm Many settled in
present-day North and South Carolina. The CD has the history as well as the
genealogy.

I belong to the Germanna Colonies (Virginia) listserv, and someone posted
the following link, to a document relating to the transport of French and
Huguenots to Virginia in the late 1600s. I saw several names which looked
familiar, and I thought that someone might find it useful.
In particular, I think those with German Coast and Pointe Coupee ancestry
might be interested; there are a number of familiar looking names from those
areas. There's even a Michel Michel -- same name as the father of Catherine
Michel, wife of Francois Olivier, who is a direct line for me. (Of course
it's premature to assume it's the same guy, but it's at least suggestive of
a direction for research.)

Don't know if anyone will find this of use, but I thought I'd post it.
